What: 50 year class reunion 1957--2007
Who: for all graduates, associates and family members of the class of 1957. If you ever spent time in school with this class, you are welcome.

Daily Events

Friday Evening Informal Social: (expecting 80 to attend)
A cash bar and hot food snacks (pass the hat) will be available at Goodfellows starting 5:30-6:30 on Friday Sept 7th. Goodfellows is east of Montevideo on hwy. 212, about two miles on the road to Granite Falls. It is on the right side and above the main road.
Saturday Day Tour: starts about 12:30 from Pioneer Village (expecting 34 tourists)
Judy pass out tour sheets with times and places. You will visit several places in Montevideo. Some cost will be incurred because the presence of a custodian is required, and there is a charge to go through the restored village. At the restord village church a brief ceremony will honor our deceased classmates. The group will car pool to avoid the cost of a bus. Please notify Judy Skonard Winge if you plan to take part in the tour.

We are expecting 128 at dinner!
Cost to Attend: $25.00 per person will cover Saturday night dinner and other reunion costs (see cost breakout below). Please send your checks in advance to:

Cost Breakout:
$25 will cover dinner for one, committee costs for mailing, supplies to create the booklet and name tags and postcards as well as a Memorial Table at the dinner. There will be at least one guest speaker from our past faculty who will be given an honorarium. We also anticipate creating a scholarship for a member of the 2008 graduating class at Montevideo High School on behalf of the class of 1957. Please consider adding an extra $5 or $10 to your payment if you can. If you can not attend the dinner but will be joining us after dinner, please consider donating $5 per person to the class treasury.
Class Picture: a class picture will be taken. Please arrive early enough so the light will still be good for an outside picture. The picture will be taken BEFORE 6:30! If you wish to be sent an 8x10 of the 50th reunion group picture, register your name and address, and pay Marge Larson Ten Dollars (changed) at the class picture table set up for this purpose at the dinner. In the past the Larsons have donated all costs for the pictures to the class. If you can't attend, but want a picture, email Marge and Allen.
Sunday Brunch: 10AM
(expecting 49 for brunch)
An informal time over breakfast in a reserved area for our class has been set aside at the Country Kitchen. Please notify Judy Skonard if you plan to attend. Time will be confirmed at Saturday dinner by Judy.
